Should I make them pay?

Im doing a drama exam next week and my group are crap they havent been bothered to do anything, i have bought all props and music-EVERYTHING and it has cost quite a bit of money, and its out of my pocket money. I dont mind buying things at all but they havent done nothing, not even learnt their lines, they smashed my wine glasses (accidental) but thats not the point. Should I make them share the cost out equally between the group, because i have purchased absolutley EVERYTHING!

Well in my opinion you should, but I don't advice you. You should have told them before stating the lessons that they have to pay for anything they destroy and etc. But you didn't so just get rid of em' and find others who have real talent in drama and maybe you can start making money out of em' he he.

Show the itemized cost, with receipts. Remind them that this was a GROUP project. If they don't pay up, inform the instructor of their non-cooperation. That's not tattling--it's just to perhaps open the instructor's eyes of the sometimes "hazzards" of group projects. If they've been "in the arena" long enough, they know...but it never hurts to remind them anyway. As for you, it will be a good lesson: remind a group of people early on, when you don't see equal division of the load, of the group effort concept. If there is a problem, don't wait until you've done it all to tell someone that there is an issue. Tell the necessary people THEN.

yes, you should at least bring up the prospect that they should chip in.

sounds to me like they are taking advantage of your weaknesses..... stand up for yourself and don't let them ride your coat tails anymore
