i came across an interesting theory a while back while studying comparitive religion at uni.
about 100 yrs before Jesus of Nazareth a leader of the Essenes (of Dead Sea Scrolls fame) enacted a strikingly similar story to that of the Jesus crucifiction narrative. He was summoned to the temple to argue with the temple authorities, but because of a difference in the calendar kept by the rival jewish groups (the maintenance of the proper calendar was one of the reasons for the separation) he arrived at the wrong time, in the middle of the orthodox jewish passover. he trashed the temple, overturned the money changing tables, etc (sound familiar?).
the jewish authorities had him executed, and buried. but, when the disciples arrived to mourn at the tomb it was empty! anyway, this caused somewhat of a great scandal, etc.
when Jesus was crucified and buried, the temple authorities stole the body, hoping to avoid a repeat of the teacher of the Essenes scandal by producing the body of Jesus when the disciples began to proclaim the empty tomb. but it backfired! the jewish authorities hadn't reckoned on the fact that the Essenes in their day were far more organised than the Jesus followers. they quickly began to proclaim the empty tomb of the teacher of the Essenes, whereas the followers of Jesus scattered and hid for a long time after his death. only much later did the Jesus followers begin to proclaim the empty tomb of Jesus, during which time the body had decayed beyond recognition.
thats the theory that I read, you can take it as you like. as for myself, not being a Christian or even religious in that sense, it is of little interest to me how the tomb became empty or even if it actually did.

The tomb was empty on Easter, but the point is Jesus rose after death, to show us that death is not final. Jesus was around for forty days, i believe, after he rose on Easter, and then ascended body and soul into heaven. So there will never be a body.

after he died he was put into a tomb for 3 days, after those 3 days he was alive for 40 or 90 days (sorry i forgot how long) after those 40 or 90 days he and his physical body ascended into the skies but the body didn't go to heaven. the body just vanished. when Jesus comes back he will be in the same body that left us i believe

He was resurrected in His physical body. He appeared to His friends and disciples in His physical body, and He ascended into heaven in His physical body. Whether or not His body was glorified as He ascended is anyone's guess. I do know that He told Mary or Martha when they saw Him after the resurrection to not touch Him, as He had not yet ascended. Remember that when the rapture occurs, the Word says that our bodies shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, or glorified. Corruption shall put on incorruption. This is the most likely.

"that's at maximum possible that in spite of if that's barely Jesus spirit that has ascended to heaven, yet no longer the actual physique. " right this is the priority. If it grew to become into purely his spirit that grew to become into raised then it may no longer be called a resurrection. Resurrections the two comprise physique and spirit. the tale of Lazarus is yet another occasion of resurrection. so a techniques as his physique ascending? In Christianity, we have faith that Jesus is God. who's additionally the author. for the reason that God created the guidelines of the actual universe, he can genuinely droop them. Levitating a actual physique may well be no longer something to him. "the shortcoming of eye witnesses make the narrated account very questionable." His disciples weren't the only ones there. there have been approximately 4 hundred eyewitnesses. including non believers.

After Jesus died on the cross, they took his wounded body and placed it into the tomb. Then Jesus' body was then made whole. He had holes still in his hands from the nails of the cross, this shows that he died for your sins. He LEFT the tomb and went into hell to defeat Satan. After he came back, Mary Martha talked to him not knowing that it was actually him. When he told her that it was Him, she was shocked. She told his disciples and they talked to him also. After a few days Jesus went up to heaven.
Jesus' body does not exist on earth. His body is in heaven.

The body talked of is the Church.
Not His physical body that He walked around in. That body went to heaven.
The Church is the body of Christ.
What Church?
The real Church.
The individual persons.
Not the buildings.
Only those who are endowed with The Holy Spirit are the real Church.
The others are the religious.
The outsiders.
The make believers.
The Hypocrites.

It was disposed of like Moses' body. That way, it would not be made into an object of worship or a curiosity.
Jesus did not ascend into heaven in his physical body. Jesus could not take a human body through the Van Allen radiation belts and outer space to heaven, for, in discussing the resurrection, Paul says: “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption,” which agrees with Paul’s preceding statement: “It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.” (1 Cor. 15:42, 50)
