Is only the FIRST lunch, I think you are expecting a bit too much. Afterall, relationship needs TIME to built. IF you are sure that you like her, date her for a few more times... see how it goes.

were you expecting a hug?not all girls just give out hugs because you treat them to lunch.. it might take more than that... thanks is usually what people say when you do something nice for them.. so i believe what she said was perfectly fine..... if you want to get more from the girl... try asking her out on a date and get to know her better... that way.. she may give you a hug at the end of the date.. or maybe more if it goes really well : P

That's fine. You don't need her all over you just for buying lunch. At least she said "thank you". If she didn't say that, then you should be concerned.

yes i think its ok maybe she dosent want 2 hug u at the moment maybe she wants to take it slow and not rush into things. I wouldnt worry about it she is prolly just taking her time. In time she will hug u and do much more.

most guys do pay for lunch. but most girls arent expecting them to. if it was a first date she might not have wanted to hug you (may be very prude) and so she said thank you.
saying thank you is perfectly fine

what did you expect?, I mean everyone is different, did you want or expect a hug (or kiss), I dont see anything weird about this at all.
