Oh dear!

I agree with Squirrelmonki. Help your little friend if you can. If you can't, be with him as he goes to sleep for the last time.

Now- I don't know how this is with dogs. But humans often go on to live full lives after having heart operations. So if you can get your little dog to the university, I think the odds are actually in his favor.

Good luck!

Hi!

I dont know if this will help but i had that same kind of thing. It was called a Veinous Pool, and it was above my eye. just in a different spot then his. the doctor said that you can get them anywhere on your body. I had mine removed. It affected my eyesight just a little. not much.
I say cuddle with him, if you have to, get those pads that have a hormone in them that attracts the dog to them if they have to go to the bathroom. (these really work)
and take the chance, have the surgery. I had mine removed, people thought my husband abused me cause it looked so aweful, It looked like a bruise and felt like a bag full of Jello.

hey give it a chance so...what if the operation does not work but what if it does.... if it does not work the university will know what to do and what not to do so maybe another dog will have a chance and if it does work every dog that has a heart problem can be cured of it...
