20 punds is a lot...but if you want to do it, do it safely. Join a gym, and starting slowly, run 30 min, and do some weights. Or take step classes. Do it 3 to 4 times a week, and consult a personal trainer, at least for one or two sessions, since that can be expensive. Cut sugar: no sodas. Now is the perfect time to eat salads with light dressings. If you want to snack, get protein bars, have one mid morning, and one mid afternoon, or a piece of fruit. But the real key is exercise and control of your eating habits, no miracle diets, eat healthy, and smaller portions. Best than anything, consult a nutritionist, and do it naturally, no miracle pills either!. Good luck!!!

OK, without the whole "lifestyle, not diet plan" lecture, If my daughters life depended on me losing 20 pounds by mid June, this is it.
Upon awakening from 7 hours solid sleep;
Light stretches, then any favorite cardio (mines biking) for 30 minutes, go hard as you can far as you can and try to out do yourself. Do not miss a workout. 5 days in a row, rest the 6th, repeat.
This is the toughest, train/discipline yourself to eat 6 small meals through out the day. Do not allow yourself to be either hungry or too full.
What you want here is not easy. While this is a very worthwhile goal, consider the choices that rendered you 20 pounds over in the first place.

It's possible, but not easy. First of all, clean the junk food out of your cabinets. If it's there, you will want to eat it. Watch your calories, obviously, and get plenty of excercise. Run every day, as far as you can, then walk back. Better yet, if you can, go swimming. Get someone to excercise with you if possible - it will make it easier. Stop drinking sodas entirely - it's amazing how fast those calories add up from those things. If you feel the need to to eat something that you know you shouldn't, do something active to take your mind off of it. Most people are not overweight because they eat when they're hungry, but rather because they eat when they're bored.
If you can stick to it for a couple of weeks, it will start becoming easier. It will become a habit and you won't crave the fatty foods as much anymore.

Eat less calories than you need each day, there are many sites that tell you how to calculate the daily calorie needs, eat less than that and you'll loose weight. Lift weights and you will loose more, do 1/2 hour of cardio like walking on a tredmill at 4.5 mph and you'll loose more. Both these exercise rev up your metabolism. To maintain a healthy weight you just need to eat less calories than you can burn. It's not easy however if you eat processed and fast foods, you need to start eating high fibre low GI foods, in other words fresh fruits and veggies, a bit of fish, and occasional white meat.
So to sum up, if you're fat and overweight you need to change your lifestyle and stop eating junk and start exercising. When you're young is the best time, later in life being overweight brings on all kinds of health problems, such as diabetes, heart problems etc. And when you're older its VERY tough to loose weight.

my name is sam ,my English is not the greatest excuse the spelling thx, i use to weight 360 lbs, know i weight 210 lbs, and this is how i lost my 150 lbs in 7 month
first thing you need to understand your body , some time you wonder you eat just as much as your Friend but your Friend dosent gain weight and you do, if you could answer that question why ,then you could lose weigh in no time.
people have different types of metabolisms and this the key word , metabolisms is what makes someone lose or gain weight what this means me and you ate the same exact meals through out the day by the end of the day i didn't gain weight but you did because i have high metabolisms meaning i burn food faster it takes me or your Friend just to left our arms and we could lose 5 calories but you need to walk for 10 minutes in the mall to burn the same 5 calories
so, the answer to weight lose is hiring you metabolisms

There's a special soup diet that some girls I worked with wen nuts about once. It worked but you need to be careful to follow the instructions carefully. Its a diet they put obese people on when they need to lose weight before an important operation. It burns fat pretty seriously. If I find the link I will add it.

Dieting is hard, but there is really a very simple answer, it works EVERY TIME. Eat less calories than you use up, walk two miles four times a week, and eat at least three big servings of green vegetables a day. I guarantee you will lose weight. Oh yeah. . . . NO DESSERTS!!

OMG you sound exacally like my sister she's 18 and our BROTHER is getting MARRIED in JUNE and she wants to lose 20 POUNDS this is really weird dont you think lol Okay this is my advise to youget attached to fruits you like and also get attached to the vedgies you like and eat them a whole lots! then do what i do run 2 times a day!&heart;Darla

look at what you eat and when you eat, do you eat breakfast? Start by eating breakfast everyday. eat slower so you feel yourself get satisfied and not uncomfortably full. Cut your portion sizes. exercise even if only for 20 minutes a day. Turn on the music that should help get you in the mood.
