My cat's belly looks more round and her "tiddies" are dark red and are VERY noticeable now. Before this, she always wanted attention and now she want to be left alone. Plus, when she tries to walk she just falls right there and sits. Also, when I get to pet her she wnats me to rub her stomach. Could she be pregnant?

the first distinct signs of pregnancy happen around two or three weeks after mating. If pregnant, your cat's nipples will start to "pink up" and enlarge a bit in preparation for milk. Then, at between three and four weeks of pregnancy, she may get morning sickness and vomit from time to time. From four weeks onward, the kittens will be visible on an x-ray or sonogram, and may be able to be counted.
Finally, at five weeks your cat's abdomen will start to enlarge. At roughly seven weeks, the queen may begin to lose her appetite and refuse to eat. At this point, the kittens' movement can easily be felt. At seven to eight weeks, she will spend a lot more time grooming herself and might look for a place to have her kittens. Her nipples will then also become even more swollen. They might even expel milky fluid between two to five days before birth.

I grew on a farm. We never took our cats the vet when we thought that they were pregnant. Instead all you need to do is hold her with her belly freely hanging and gently massage it. Lightly pinch her belly also with your full hand, almost like giving a self breast exam. If she is pregnant you should feel lil bumps such as the head. I have done this many many times and usually I can count how many kittens there are. Often I am right and sometimes I am off by 1. Also I have been doing this since i was really young so it is not very hard.

She could be sick...have the vet check her to be sure.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^
