my girlfriend is [currently] 13 years old, 5ft, and 90lbs. i know for a fact she never eats breakfast or lunch. im not sure if she eats dinner or not. but she hasnt always been like this. its been going on for about a month now and she cries daily. i know somethings wrong with her but i dont know how to help. shes been very emotional lately and has missed alot of school. a month ago she was 110lbs. its not like her to stop eating all of the sudden and lose 20lbs in one month. shes obsessed with exercising and i think she overworks herself. she does acting, cheerleading, dance, baton, and gymastics. she does atlest 3 of those everyday and afterwards comes to my house crying her heart out. she just tells me nothings wrong but i can tell shes lying. i dont know what to do. plz help me i dont want her to hurt herself.

Talk to her. tell her not eating is worse. she can still eat and be super fit. just watch what you eat and the portion size. she may be depressed

First of all, she's doing way too much to be almost 13 years old. Second off, it sounds to me like she does have an eating disorder.

You come across as being way older than 13... Hopefully you aren't some 30 year old gym teacher or something.

Anyway, talk to her parents or something.

You should look at her home life, maybe she has some issues going on at home. Keep trying to get her to talk. She could have an eating disorder, but if she is depressed she can display signs of an eating disorder and not have one. You can talk to a school councilor and see if they can get her to talk. Just keep trying, you are doing a good thing.

It really sounds like it. If she was always that weight-it seems pretty normal, but losing 20lbs-yeah-that is weird. And not eating breakfast could be normal, but if she never did that and is always crying, yeah; I'd say something is definitely wrong. You should confront her.
