will expired nicotine patches still be effective?

the expiration date on them is 09-2005

If, they not been used and still in their package, it not hurt to try. They may not be as good as when they were fresh. But, I figure may as well try it before I throw it away. I have done this with canned food, though it seldom. The open and smell test. If, it not smell right, I throw it away, but, it not hurt to smell.

no. when something expires it is no longer good to use.

They have probably lost some of their efficacy.

no.. expired.. cant use anymore!!
