I really want to protect and stand up for this girl I like but often I was engulfed with fear of gossip. What is the best and most charming way to stand up for a girl? I am 15 by the way.

well, you can only stand up for her assuming that someone is picking on her, or doing something thats not right to her. also, you cant live her life for her, you need to let her have the opportunity to respond first. THEN, if she seems overwhelmed by whatever the problem is, you step in. and if you're afraid of gossip, then you might not quite be ready for a relationship with this girl. think about it, if you like her, why would you care that people are talking about that you might like her?

you need to get to a point where you're comfortable with the idea that people know how you feel for her before you can really be with her. being in a relationship means you need to be in a state where you're very open with your emotions, which many guys take a long time to get used to.

maybe just start by talking to her, and asking her to go to the movies or something. dont try to be her hero. men that try to be heroes usually fail, heroes are just men who just do what they feel is right.

good luck bro.

The best way to stand up for a girl? OK I am going to assume you care about yours and her reputation here. So This is how I do this kind of thing.
I tell people when they are saying cruel things about some one I like, this. "Oh darn, don't tell me you have nothing better to do than to talk **** about people." "Your life must be riddled with insecure feelings, or you wouldn't be gossiping like this about so and so just to make yourself seem more Holier than thou!" Or you can just say, I am not into childish malicious gossiping. I have better things to do! LOL Hope this helps.

Hello

Why would you care about others, if you stop every time a dog barked than your road would never end.
Go ahead do what you think is right, but be sure if the girl likes you, you don't want to fight for her than find out that there is no chance that you will be together. I don't advice fighting you can do it it diplomatic way, it's much better.

Good Luck, we need more guys like you

Do you mean stand up for a girl's integrity?

Learn to ease the situation. If someone's picking on her, ask the guy/girl what's up with their attitude? Why are they acting the way they're acting.

Appeal to someone's sense of reason. (I know that's hard at 15, but as you get older it gets easier. People become more reasonable.)

Good luck.

you defend her if she is in a fight... protect her from jerks... if you show that your'e not scared of gossip or what people may think of you after, then she will be charmed by that, i confident guy is a cool guy. standing up for a girl shows how you care for her, and she will definately think your lovely for that...good luck...
