Hi! I'm really glad you decided to believe in God. It's going to be the best decision you'll ever make.
But the truth is, you can't just make yourself believe in God, per se. You have to pray to God and ask Him for His grace. You can ask to be forgiven. You can ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and be your Personal Lord and Savior. That's "Personal", it means Jesus is truly YOURS, your Superman 24/7. If you're not sure how to pray, you can start by going to your room and just talking to God as if you were talking to a friend. Knowing that you don't believe in Him, it might seem silly, but whether you know it or not, even as you read this, God is excited to hear from you. Trust me. If there's one thing I will bet my life on, it's that God wants to be with you. If you're not quite comfortable yet doing this, you can start by reading the Bible. Start by reading the Gospel of John, then back at the beginning of the New Testament. I suggest you start with John.
This is what I know: God has NEVER forsaken those who have called out to Him. He will surely honor the effort you make in wanting to know Him more.
I'll be praying for you. God bless!

First of all before i say anything i will have to congratulate you, because many of the people believe in relegion blindly just because of their parents. You are depending on what your mind tells you, so thats good. Well let me ask you a few questions. Just say i bring a machinary in front of you that no one has ever seen before and i ask you who knows the function of this machine. You would obviously say the manufacturer or the maker or the creator or the inventor etc. So how do you think the world came out, or the universe and all the nature. If it just came out of no where how can it be so perfect. Okay moving on, the study of embryology right now has just been discovered recently that is about a hundred years ago. But who do you think told about the development of an embryo before 1400 years ago in the Holy Qura'an, obviously the Creator (GOD). Next point, it was only before like 500 years or so people started to admit that the world is spherical in size but then the Quran said this 1400 years ago. Who do you think would have said this, obviously the Creator(GOD). My next point, it was only a few years ago that science told us that the sun rotates on its own axis, but Allah said this in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago in chapter 21 verse 33 ( you can confirm it by referring to the Quran). It was only recently that science says that mountains prevent the Earth from shaking but my Creator, Allah said this 1400 years ago in Chapter 78 Verse 6 and 7. And another point, science only recently found that the universe is expanding but Allah said this in the Quran before 1400 years ago in chapter 51 verse 47. Hope i have proved enough about the existence of God. Im not an expert in Islam, but there are people with better knowledge than me and all ill say is Islam is the true relegion and hope to see you as another brother or sister in Islam. You can watch the video of this expert speaker which might make you a bit more confident and reading the Quran would clarify all your doubts im sure. If you have time watch both these videos-

Well, first off, you must understand one thing.......
Christianity is ALL ABOUT FAITH!!! and that faith is believing in a god you can't see, touch, or smell.
But one thing that I can tell you to do is pray and try him for yourself. And what I mean by the is "consencrate you day focused on him" and when your able to be alone for a long time, begin to talk to him and ask him to speak to you. Because if I know God like I think I know him, I know that he will talk to you. IF YOU ONLY BELIEVE!!
The bible says if you believe that jesus died on the cross for your sins and you believe that he is Lord and Lord of your life, than you are saved!

You have been told that there is no God and you CHOSE to believe it, --or you have come to that conclusion yourself.
If you choose to want to believe in God and really seek Him, He will let Himself be found by you. (Heb. 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.)
Jesus said: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Luke 11:9-10
So, you start from the premise, "I believe there is a God and He wants me to know Him, so I will learn all I can about Him," --and then start reading the Bible. You may want to first read the book of Genesis, in the very beginnig of the Bible. (Skip the other books of the Old Testament for now, because they are harder to understand, especially once you get to Leviticus.) Then start reading the New Testament and read about Jesus, who is God become a human being.
Every time you start to read, ask God to show you something about Himself. God is greater than we are so it will not be easy to understand everything at the first reading, but keep reading anyway. The more often you read, the clearer things will become to you.
If you want to have further help, or ask questions as you read the Bible, feel free to email me.

I can give you a clue.
I do not believe in aliens from another planet or a flat earth. There are arguments for both made by somewhat intelligent and wise people. I have no desire to believe in them nor do I need to go everywhere they are and tell them why I think they are wrong. Actually the last place you will find me is at a Yahoo Question and Answer forum about UFO's and Flat Earth.
So.... You are here desiring to believe in GOD?
(Because you do believe)
Try this prayer. "I want to believe in whatever you are out there." Please reveal yourself to me. I believe. Help my unbelief."
If you mean it hold on to your booty because you are about to wake up. Sort of like the Matrix. LOL
May the Lord richly bless you on your quest sister.

that is a hard question. I would say to pray to God. Read the bible and ask God for his help. It says in the bible that those who seek will find. It must be in your heart though. God will let you know when he thinks you are ready. This will not happen over night, and don't expect to see "fireworks" like on those crazy t.v. churches. Also, visit different churches, and listen to the word of God being taught.

First you have to know that you are a sinner as everyone else is. Then you ask God to save you and to come into your heart as your personal savious. "For whoso ever that calleth upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved and have everlasting life(in hevean)"--John 3:16. im not sure that was word from word but, go to your local church, not all churches are Christian, im a Baptist so and thats the best for me so.....ask God to help you find a good church for you and just ask the pastor what can you do. hope that helps. God bless you : )

If you want to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you have first to acknowledge that you are sinner in need of redemption for your sins. When your heart acknowledges this God's Holy Spirit will convict you of your sin and gives you the faith to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As long as you believe that you are alright on your own then you are not ready to know God. The truth is after we believe in Jesus we will experience God because the Holy Spirit comes and lives within us to make us alive to God. It is the Holy Spirit who confirms with our spirits that we are children of God. When we believe then we will know in our spirits that God is real.
