Anorexia Nervosa is a disorder where the main characteristic is the restriction of food and the refusal to maintain a minimal normal body weight. Most Anorexics lose weight by restricting their food intake. Anorexics may start by limiting or excluding foods that they perceive as having high fat or caloric content.
You don't have to be underweight to DEVELOP this eating disorder.

no, underweight is when you are less than your average weight for your age by 15% i think? and anything below that is anorexic, you will have bones sticking out and be very weak and its very dangerous. i know some people who are underweight and they eat and eat and eat (and dont gain), but they are not anorexic. so you can be normal and have some of the symptoms, yes. =)

No, you don't have to be underweight to be anorexic, but people who are anorexic tend to become underweight since they don't eat. Some people who are overweight think that turning to anorexia will help them lose weight.

No you don't. With bulimia, many sufferers are at what would be considered a normal weight.
