If your grandmother lives out of town.....then you have to make the decision. Take the dog to the vet now. Obviously she's left the dog in your care....so take care of it now!
The vet will tell you what needs to be done....and DO IT!
Don't let the poor thing suffer another minute!

Your Grandma is not being selfish. She does not have any money. You don't say how old you are but with your vocabulary I would say at least a teen. How about you talk to your parents and get them to help. Grandma is Mother to one of them. If you have a job can you help with the cost? If those options don't work do you know the name of her vet. Perhaps you could call him and tell him not only about the dogs problem but also about the money problem. Most vets would want to see the dog and would worry about the money later. If it is as bad as you say he may put the dog down at no cost to your Grandma just to keep the dog from suffering. Good luck.

Ummm, yeah. If a dog is basically bleeding from every orifice it needs help. Maybe you could help your grandma with the cost of either vetting the dog or having it put down. This does not sound like a self-resolving issue.

Yes,you are right. He needs a vet immediately. This is a sign of rat bait toxicity, autoimmune disease, or thrombocytopenia(low platelet count), or other disease.
Check his gum color...they may be white or pale. He needs a vet as fast as you can get him there.
Money shouldn't be a reason not to go vet. If an animal is suffer, vets will put them to sleep for free. No vet wants to see an animal suffer.

Amber I feel the dog has either a perforated bowel or Kidney failure and taking him to the Pound isn't the answer.he needs medical attention and your grandmother could try one of the local agency s/a Paws to help her if needed to fund his treatment. He will surely die if he doesn't get treatment and no he will not get better without treatment. If he is and out door dog that roams he could have ingested poison or antifreeze.
good luck!

Sounds like cancer... If you aren't going to take him to the vet and see what can be done, you should have him put down..
