when you eat have your dog eating. everytime I eat I set out a bowl for her right before I sit down I put her in another room to eat when I have guest over. My dog's trainer said she had gotten this habit from me feeding her from my plate so i had to stop that to.

you have to teach her that when your eating in a certian room not to enter the room. I had the same problem with my dog he liked to beg alot so when me and my family sat down at the table to eat he knew not to come into the room while we were eating he could come in after we finished eating. what i did was everytime we sat down to eat if he entered the room I said no in a firm voice and escorted him to the other room and told him to stay. and repeated the steps until he learned that he was not welcomed at the dinner table. I tried other methods like feeding him when we ate but that didn't work because everytime i picked a peice of food to eat he would expect him to eat also and it got annoying.
