The difference is roughly 8 years or so of technology increase. Both products are Virtual Virus Magnets, as they attract 114,000 virii that e do not infect non Microsoft software.
There are, however, some good things about Windows NT. One important one is that there is no hassel reactivating NT. Another is that there is no genuine advantage tool with NT. On the plus side, many things are much easier to do with XP, than with NT.
I have a good alternative to either of these: Get
open source software. You are required to pay hundreds of dollars for XP or NT, but open source software is just as easy to use, and free. For example Kubuntu, which is a Linux flavor, actually installs faster and easier than Windows, with fewer driver issues. It is at www.kubuntu.org

the manager of a network,
or you are a developer,
you will probably never need NT, that is
an XP platform, and XP only{?}.
Oh, and if you think you are up to it,
you can find a legit site that will
walk you through disabling
certain services under Administrative
Tools that you don't need, and some are
associated with NT. That should
give your CPU less to deal with.
