Open Media Player and go to Tools < Options. Once there, go to the Player Tab (should be the default one open). The settings for screen saver is there.

On media players playback options there should be an option like "don't interrupt with screensaver during playback" check the box for that if you can find it.

i leanrend that the screensaver takes memory of the computer, it slow it down, just set it to none. go to your display properties, and display it to :none:
if u dont want a scren saver. i recomend it not. if the screensaver is on, most like-ly, it can slow the computer. it takes up memory.
thats what i learned here

set the time setting for longer....I'm not running vista, but there should be the option..."don't run screensaver when running full-screen applications"....?
Otherwise, go into the WMP options, and set it, so as not to allow the screensaver to run when watching videos...it's in the options in WMP
