That breed known as the rhodesian ridgeback is a sighthound. It is not at all recommended for first time dog owners.....it loves erercise and lack of it can can cause a disaster. It's a loyal and healthy breed......and i seriously think u must read it up on the net.......it's not easy to maintain one.

You definitely need to learn the NAME of the breed before you decide to buy one. If you want a quality rhodesian ridgeback you should worry about what kind of breeder, not the cost of the puppy. And, definitely do your research.

I am not trying to be mean, but if you didn't even bother to learn the name of that breed, then you shouldn't get one.
Please reseach the breed before you get one.
Oh, and the answer is it varies depending on breeders, the area you live, their pedigree, and papers and such.
