There are a few things you can do however depending on where you live with each season change especially from hot to cold weather and vice versa you're going to have some major shedding. (My friend has an Akita and tuffs of hair are literally falling out. There are huge mounds every day regardless of how much he vaccums).
The food you're feeding your dog could help. A premium dog food (Nutro, Royal Canin, Inova) are good foods. Nutro actually has a lamb and rice formula for healthy skin and coat that helps to reduce shedding.
Linatone (which is a liquid supplement you put on their food during feeding) also helps to reduce shedding, itching, and other skin and coat problems.
Make sure you brush them at least 2 times a day. That will cut the shedding down tremendously.
Good Luck

You can check with your vet, but don't think so. Aussies are a high maintenance grooming breed. Lots of brushing should help keep hair from getting everywhere. Hopefully it will lessen once summer is here, but in the meantime, groom as many times during the week that you can.

Part of the problem is because she is inside with the indoor heat. You can buy Omega oil capsules and put a hole in it with a pin. Squeeze it on her food and mix it up. It is good for their hair and skin. Also get a good brush and brush her everyday to get rid of the loose hair.

The Furminator brush is AMAZING! I have one for my Corgis and it works wonders. Corgis shed like there's no tomorrow, but with that brush the shedding is minimal at worst. You should try it!

Check with her vet, but shedding is a Aussie problem. We have to vaccuum every 45 minutes ... not really, but it seems like it.
