my bf is 5'' and i am 5'7 i know it sux!!! but hes really sweet and nice to me and es cute...but my friends always complain about how he has big eyes...[[ which aren't even that big ]]...and it gets really annoying when my friends r complaining about him and i don't know what to say to my friends to get them to shut up about him...i don't want to break up w/ him but it hard because my friends hate him and hes 7 inches smaller than me...PLEASE HELP!!!

2 schools of thought - 1 is that they are jealous and you should ignore them,
the other is that you sound very young and you're probably not going to end up marrying the guy anyway. So don't worry about the 'little' things in the relationship and just have fun.

Peer pressure is hard, to be sure. Do not base your relationship with your bf based on what your friends think or say. Most of the time, it's usually out of jealousy that they say these things.

If they were true friends they wouldnt care who you dated just as long as it made you happy tell your friends that because if he makes you smile he must be someone cool! It sounds to me like they're just immature and jealous because of the way he treats you, so they talk badly about him.
You can just tell your friends to simply goto thell, and that you are not going to break up with him simply because they don't like him.
There's not a damn thing wrong with him being shorter than you. :-) Give him time, and he'll probably catch up to you. :-)
You'd be a fool to get rid of this boy. He sounds to me like a keeper. Guys like this are hard to find, but friends like those....dime a dozen.

First off, what you do and who you love is not the concern of your friends. If they can't understand that - they aren't good friends to begin with.
It's all about how YOU feel about him, and it sounds like he wants to be with you. Why fight that, esp. if he's sweet, cute and treats you well?
Tell your "friends" it isn't their business, and go on with your life, happily.

your friends are yiur friends but they can not give you what you are seeking from this male. tell them to shut up about it because you don't want to hear it. let them know it bothers you and if it still doesn't work start limiting your time away from them. when they start to talk about him make up some kind of excuse to get away from them. maybe then they will get the hint.

If he makes you happy and treats you well, let your friends know that he does, and that you don't appreciate their frivolous remarks.
Question to you: Do they have boyfriends that are nice to them? Often people find "faults" with other people's partners out of jealously.

They arent real friends.... if they are concerned with looks etc. and arent happy for you because of how nice he treats you then get rid of them.. for real... would they rather you have someone that looks like Brad Pitt but treats you like crap? Tell them flat out that you have had enough of their jealousy! Tell them that you are happy and if they dont stop then they have lost a friend.

Real friends wouldn't talk about someone you really like in that manner. Maybe you need to replace them and not your short boyfriend.

all i got to say is SCREW your friends. Trust me there not real friends if they are cutting down on your relationship. my girlfriend is 5'4" and i am 6'2" and trust me my friends know better then to even think of saying something about her, so what you got to do is let your friends know how you feel.
