Of course, if we say they ate bread, then as a matter of course, they had to grow grain for it.
If they knew how to do this, we might also conclude that they probably ate vegetables too.
Any comments?

If any of you answerers are double checking, please look at your Bibles at Gen 3:19
(KJV AB ACV ASV DRC Darby, etc all contain the hint, NIV doesn't) but read it carefully!

Sure they ate bread, otherwise God's words at Genesis 3:19 would have been incomprehensible.
That means Adam also knew fire, since you can't eat bread without BAKING it.
Well, actually you can but it doesn't taste very good.

In the Garden they ate only that which was provided by God and I would assume that would be fruits, vegetables, and possibly grains. After the Garden God told Adam he would have to bring forth the food by the sweat of his brow. So I think we can conclude that God gave them some pointers so as to make sure they would not perish for lack of food.
Also, since Cain and Able offered God sacrifices of both grain and animal we can conclude God taught them animal husbandry as well as agriculture.

"Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat" Genesis 2:16
This was before sin. They no doubt grew crops and ground grain into flour to bake bread, although the Bible doesn't give specifics as to when they did this (I'm no expert on the complete Bible, so someone else may give more verses!).
Adam lived for many centuries, so that also needs to be taken into consideration.

Adam & Eve ate all vegetation, they were not meat eaters at the time, God said EVERY TREE that grows out of the ground in the garden is good for food, That includes the apple tree, The tree of life & the tree of knowledge of good & evil were not literal trees They did not even grow out of the ground, they were in the midst of the garden. At that time the garden of eden was a perfect climate & God had placed everything there for them to eat.

As early as leviticus, they talk about leavened bread. At no point in the bible does it mention inventing ovens. A simple hearth could have accompolished what you suggest. Your question is interesting, but it's speculative as the bible does not mention it at all in genesis.
Anyway, being atheist, I don't believe that Adam and Eve even existed.

Genesis 1:29 - And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
I'd say they were vegetarians, but I doubt they ate bread. Who knows? Perhaps Eve, in the millions of years they were in the Garden, figured out fire and mashed some stuff together and stuck it in the fire to see what happens. lol who knows?

They were two animals on earth (The garden of Edan) they would have eaten pine cones if necessary. Bread, no fire had not be harnessed at that time.

Certain aspects about pre-fall of man life are not detailed in the Bible. Dietary custom is one of those things.
I don't think there's any reference to sewage, either.
