Am a firm believer that the Apostles who all but John died unatural deaths at the hand of man, would not lay down thier lives for a lie. Not a one recounted and left their belief. To me this is unshakable proof of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I will not dismiss the find outright, but we turned after one hour...mostly to watch the History Channel's The Dark Ages (which were much more enlightening..pun intended).
Maybe its our need to make big bucks off anything or simply we living in a fast generation. I think what was found is WORTH investigating...but it should have been presented as preliminary information or not shown at all until more definitive evidence could be found.
Note that one Christian scholar answered the question most wanted to ask...would discovering Jesus tomb and his bones (the bones are burned) change the way he believed. He said absolutely not. That is my response.

Cameron was just trying to make the all mighty dollar.
He is being a false teacher and he will pay a price for that. He KNOWS that he is leading people astray too..........
The bones that were found were found in 1980. Did you know that?
Do you think if they thought that was Jesus' bones they would have waited until 2007 to bring this to light?
There are people who want to discredit Christians and prove us wrong so they would have taken this information to the wqorld immediately.
Isn't it kind of cool that over the year every time someone tries something like this they are eventually shown to be the frauds that they truely are?

I think that it is an OK case and it is possible. They left a lot undone. If you were to get the bones, extract DNA and map the whole family relationship in the tomb, it would change the whole argument.
If it all matches the way they claim it should, it becomes a statistical slam dunk. If it doesn't, it becomes a funny coincidence. I am personally skeptical that it would match.
That said the Discovery Channel only pulled it because of pressure. It had nothing to do with the actual case.

no. it couldn't have been found. If you do heavy researching, you will find out the truth. But I beleive what they found was a fake, or a different family, because back then, Jesus was a common nah. so was judah, mary, and joseph. there is a possibility someone could have faked the dna and stuff.

Christ was not raised from the dead back into his physical body and neither will we.
There are no bones to be found.
If God hid the bones of Moses, how much more so would he hide the old bones of his Son.

Jesus is not dead. He has risen from the dead. When the stone was rolled away there was nothing to be found except strips of linen.

No!!!!
Jesus rose from the dead (meaning He isn't dead now) and ascended into heaven (meaning He's not on earth in human form). How can it be possible to find his bones?
