Well if you think you're fat, then try to lose weight by eating less sweets, and food with calories. If you're hungry then try to suck on a sugar free lolipop or chew on chewing gum to try and stop you from eating more food. Maybe you only feel fat because of the clothes you wear. If so, then try to wear baggier clothes so you may look thinner. Also you may also want to try some ads on TV about losing weight. They may help too.

Losing weight is a matter of expending more energy than what you are taking in. So eating a lower kilojoule diet in combination with a good exercise plan should lead to losing weight. This is if the weight you are carrying is fat. Otherwise it may be just fluid which tends to come and go with weather and hormone patterns.
To lose fat: A good diet should consist of foods that are high in fibre such as wholegrain breads, rice, cereals (not weetbix), fruits, vegetables, salads in combination with proteins such as fish, chicken and lean meat. These can be replaced with vegetarian sources like tofu, eggs, beans and legumes if you wish. Also, don't forget to add in nuts and seeds, small amounts of dairy and other fats. A diet such as this should get the bowels moving and keep them moving for healthier digestion. Be aware of how much you eat as in portion sizes etc, and how much you snack between meals. It all adds up.
Drinking green tea is said to increase metabolism, that is to burn more energy.
Losing weight through exercise will require sessions of more than 3/4 hour to burn fat and 3 -5 times per week. This should be a high paced exercise like aerobics, running, fast walking, or something like a circuit at the gym. Don't be alarmed if initially you are not losing weight by the scales. You will be building muscle underneath the fat which actually weighs heavier than fat. You should see a slight change in body shape though.
If you follow a program like this and stick to it, which is usually the hardest part, you should see results.

The only way I've found that worked for me was regular exercise, counting claories and drinking lots of water. Your doctor should be able to help you work out a plan of action.
