I am 42 and going on my first blind date since I lost my wife. I have been communicating with her through email for weeks and I like what I am reading about her.
The date is a lunch date, and she is bringing two of her girlfriends with her. I would like to bring my date a friendly flower, but what kind of simple flower do I bring her two guests? Do I bring them anything? If not why?

It would be nice if you included a flower for her friends...I would, for example, take your date 3 carnations and her friends one daisy each. (or perhaps any other "small" type flower would do) Just enough to say "hello" and "Thank you for being here".

Bring a small bouquet of flowers and because it's your first date carnations or a mix of wildflowers...i love wildfowers..anyway you don't get the friends/chaperones anything because your not dating them.I have to say that the girl is very smart to bring along her friends though.I'm sure your a nice guy and all but you never know with online dating.Good luck with your date and I hope you hit it off.

Ignore the others who say that the idea that shes bringing her friends is stupid...... She might just be insecure, and freaked out to meet a guy.... people, shes just a smart woman who is thinking rationally and being smart. I say get her a dozen of roses, and the rest get them anyflowers that are uglier than the roses, so that the girl you are going out with doesnt think that you like her friends more or wtv, so that she feels "special" thats she got roses- that she's different =) gettit?! There's no need to bring anything for her friends. It would make her feel special if you just thought of her and brought her a rose.

Well, why is she bringing others? it's stupid!
Take her red roses, and just chocolates for the others.
or just call her and tell her to come on her own! This doesn't sound a date, it sounds so annoying.
i would never want friends coming over on a date i'm having with you! yaks! imagine you end up liking the other girls and having them all in your own trousesrs? I would go wild then! anger !

Something simple, not pushy, like daisies or wildflowers for your date. Her two guests are on their own. You could bring
everything you have to impress but not overpower her friends. Don't let the friends intimidate you, be yourself, it is her you are trying to get to know.
