It is no less important to be sure that the company you represent is one that is reputable for paying out on legitimate claims.

I think it is better to go on referrals rather than cold calls. Then you have referred trust rather than just talking to strangers that have no reason to trust you.

It is working for me, one that has been quiet and very introverted. So slowly, I am coming out of my shell as I am learning the ropes and selling insurance.

Know the companies that you are doing biz with and their rating, know their products, the way they handle claims.

Be honest with your clients. don't be afraid to tell them the bad news as well as the good news. ut when you tell them the ad news, never go to them without a solution to the problem at the ready.

And, as with everything in life..... follow through is everything.

Insurance companies are the scourge of all evil.

They charge people ridiculous prices then do not pay up and they are free to discriminate against people.
