there are people who are considered by God as gods.

Psalms 82:1

God presides in the great assembly; he gives judgment among the "gods":

the "gods" being referred to in this verse are not false gods.
rather the assembly were considered as assembly of gods.

this is supported by Psalms 86:8

Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.

The "gods" being refered to these verses are the "children of God"

read 1 John 3:1
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

If we are going to think logically: If God have children, then His children are called "gods".

It is just as simple as that.

No and this is offensive. If people do not embrace other people's beliefs, why do they have to mock and be mean?
