Just try and weather the storm, in other words- be patient with yer sibs. I have 3 bro's & 1 sis.Man, what a mess growin' up. I remember getting so mad at my oldest bro, I threw a battery at him, after he pissed me off so bad, and it hit him in the back of his head. I got scared and went into the house and locked the doors. He broke the glass in the screen door, cutting his hand pretty badly, trying to get at me!! My older bro let him in, I was really scared at that point. The older bro was able to calm him down, and as he helped "clean up", he got me to come out of hiding- and we made up. Those two used to pick on me sumpin' fierce, then I grew up. They both do not pick on me whatsoever any more!! In fact, we get along quite well now. There's similar stories with the rest of my sibs growing up, but now we need each other, for emotional, financial, and other support at times. Now it's just hugs and hand shakes- and we help each other like nobody's "bidness". It might seem impossible now, but later, you guys will learn to love and protect each other, because there really is nothing more important than "FAMILY". You've probably heard that before, but believe me, it is true. Hang in &hang on!!!

im in the same boat as u but i have figured out the best thing to do. love him when u can and ignore him the rest of the time. if u have some friends u can stay with for a while like during summer or spring break stay with them and when u come back ur bro might actualy not be as looney towards u

That is what in general most brother's would do to all their sister. Absent makes the heart grows fonder. When he's moving out to go to college that is the time that you will miss him with all his antics at home. Think of it that you are giving him a chance to be a brat before that day come. All the best to you

Brothers are great, aren't they? *sarcasm* I have a younger brother and an older brother, so I feel for you. It DOES get better though. My younger brother and I are in our 40's now, and the older one is turning 50 this year. They STILL like to get to me, but I don't see them very often anymore. They were little hellions growing up, but now we have some great memories to share.
I think they do the things that they do to us, because they know it drives us crazy. Have you tried ignoring him? Or just getting away from him when he starts his ****? Lock yourself in your room, or go to a friend's house. This won't last forever (that is the good news) but for now, it sounds like you are stuck. Just remember this.....he won't be around forever.
