We went out for a month and he said he only wants to be friends so I was dumped. But we still hang out a lot. He IM and texts me often to ask me how i've been or telll private jokes.
FRiends tell me it is a good thing we are still great friends that hang out and talk. But now I wonder if he is just using me as a fall back whenever he needs compnay and his friends are away. I enjoy his company and he's practically an orphan. I have many friends but he knows I hate them and always want to get away from them. I never look for him only he does.
Am I thinking too much that he is using me as a fallback company for hanging out? Is he playing me?

its the respectable thing to do that when you break up with someone you try and remain their freind ur in way over ur head complicating things look at the bigger picture and u'll see he didn't think it would have worked out like that and ur more valuable to him as a freind. He cant be falling back on you if he constantly hangs out with u, if u were a last resort he wouldn't bother with u in the mean time.

what's wrong if he wants to be just friend? it appears that you have got emotionally involved with this guy. i feel he has right to remain just friend & keep in touch. It also appears that you are lonely & of possesive nature. It's always better that you allow others their space & you too must do same. Please develop your own friends & dont think about him too much. life is short & enjoy it, make as many friends as you can. all the best!!!

was that month you went out a month of sex? you didn't say. so if it was and then he decided it wasn't the right thing or time for him to make a commitment. sounds like he just wants to cool it and just stay friends. he must like you as a friend or he wouldn't im you. it sounds like you wanted the friendship to be more than it was so just chill out and see what happens. good luck

Yes I think hez using u.
He talks to U, IM's U whenever hez ideal or has no one to talk to.
And sharing private jokes does mean tht, hez fantasising himself.. having fun with ur talks.. and nothing else.
I think u shud stop talking to this guy and be away.
If he asks u any question, say tht whenever hez alone he talks to u. Wht abt u, he never comes to u to talk to u, when u're feeling lonely.. and blah blah..

Well, if you are just friends and there is no love or romantic feeligns towards each other, and he enjoys your company as much as you do his, then there shouldn't be a problem.

hmmm i don't think he's using you! i mean even if he was it's still a benefit for you as you enjoy spending time with him! If you like hanging around with him then don't worry. People don't waste their times on people they don't like and mean a lot to.
