old greek translation anyone?

I need to get some translations for my school work, from modern translations of old terms to their orogional greek form written in greek. ALso, how do I get greek letters in word?

Ctitek's answer is right. You can set additional languages for your keyboard through the Control panel and you can switch from one to another by pressing Alt+Shift (Windows). The keyboard layout is approximately the same as the english one. You can experiment to see the differences.

Greek in Word - a little bit harder but not undo able.

What the other person is suggesting is inserting symbols.


If you want to write in Greek, you need to change the language.

Go to control panel and click on regional and language options, click on details and add a language.


Just because4 you added the language you also need to change the language from default (likely English) to greek.

You do realize that each letter on keyboard will come up some greek letter.


probably should search for Greek keyboard layout...



Oh, a icon should come up in your system tray (lower right hand corner of screen saying "EN" for English when you want to switch to Greek, right click on it and switch to GR.

Arial Greek (arial.zip)
Times New Roman Greek (times.zip)
Avant Greek TrueType (avant.zip)
for greek writting as ctitek said how.
