Speaking as somebody who grew up with the stuff, neither I nor anybody I know has ever heard of somebody getting ill from olive oil going bad, not even once, and by the way - it has a very, very long shelf life, certainly well over six months if its kept under reasonable conditions (eg. out of the sun and away from heat sources). I suppose that it could go bad, eventually, but I've never seen it happen the way I've seen peanut oil or corn oil go bad.
Yes, like others have said, it can turn cloudy when it gets cold, and this is late March and you have been storing it in the garage. But, that's nothing that won't go away on heating.

I agree with the others. Barring any strange odors it's probably due to the cold temperature of the garage. If you keep in a relatively warm area that should resolve the problem. Or you could leave it in a hot water bath or next to a heat source for a bit before using if you'd prefer leaving in the garage.

Olive oil and all fats do coagulate in cold weather. Since I don't know what part of the country you are in, that could be a factor. Try to bring it to room temperature and it should return to it's normal state. I also believe that extra virgin olive oil only has a 6 month shelf life.

I don't know if it is good or not. I had the same issue with cloudy olive oil from the elements of outside. I just tossed mine and didn't use it.

No, it has to do with temperature. If you have a cold garage then it will do that. Bring it in the house and you notice the difference.

Was it cold? It clouds up if it's cold.
If there's no bad odor and it was just cold, I'd say yeah - just let it come to room temperature and mix it.

It's fine. Unless your garage is heated it was affected by the cold. Take it indoors and it will clear back up again.
