what is the practical english education in amerika

Well, Upul, you don't specify which country in amerika. That makes it difficult. Each country has its own type of education.
Let's mention for the moment the USA as an example. In the USA the english education sucks. Very few people speak correct english there. What they speak is actually a dialect.
Frequently I have see in newspapers, magazines, etc, etc, words that I asked a yank about it ( I was in a library and I asked the librarian ) and not even her knew the meaning
