It's been shown that some people, i.e. homeless, poor and old people without a steady income have been known to eat dog and cat food. Mostly the moist variety. Do you think anyone has considered the fact that some humans may be injesting this rat poison tainted food also?

I've heard about those people too. Actually I think it's only a matter of time until it also appears in some human food as well.

The problem is, those people who eat dog or cat food may not be willing to come forward and admit this. Would you? Afterall, it is somewhat abnormal behavior.
Do I think that someone has thought of this? Yup. But, the problem is the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) does not oversee the manufacturing and safety of pet food...just people food. If someone got sick from eating pet food, really what recourse do they have? Have you heard recently that they also put SAWDUST in the pet food to add fiber? Humans are protected by inspections of Health Departments on Food Establishments, The FDA and other Federal and State agencies to ensure that the food we eat is safe....But, is it? Look what happened with the scallions at Taco Bell....the Spinach problem. These sickened hundreds of people. I think what many people may liken to stomach bugs or stomach flu often can involve tainted/infected food.
Oh lastly, when have you known the government to really give a rats behind about the welfare of the homeless or the poor elderly???
