It depends on what the drawing is and how well you draw. If you are a good artist, draw something that he's into. For example, if he's a fireman, draw a firefighter saving a life. If he's a biker, draw an motorcycle scene with a cool biker dude. Guys have big egos. Draw something to make him feel like "he's the man"! Something that will make him proud to say to his buddies "My lady drew that for me". Also put it on a durable material that he can keep for a long time. Don't just put it on a sheet of ink jet paper. Make it big and nice. A person can look at it and see if you put your heart into it, and if you did, it will have a character that no store bought gift will. With that said, if you are not a good artist, don't bother. He has to be able to be proud to say "My lady drew that for me"

Assuming the message of the picture was something nice, I think it would be a very sweet gesture. Handmade gifts are especially nice in that it tells the person that you gave them your time in making it also.

That depends on what the drawing is, and who it was from, if it is from someone really close and the drawing is meaningful to the relationship, even if it's just as close friends, then I would cherish it, but if it's just something cause you dont' want to spend money on them, don't bother and just make him a card.

It depends on what she draws. If i receive a drawing fr a girl, i'll try to figure out what the message is in the drawing before i conclude.

I would think it was sweet. That would be nicer than something you went out and bought cause it took more effort, remember it's the thought that counts.

I would be touched. She took time out of her day to do that for me. Its SOO much easier to just buy something. But when someone take time out to actually make something JUST for you... Thats special

I would think that it was very considerate and thoughtful. It makes it very personal and I would like it very much.
