suicide is a great sin that cannot be forgiven (except what ALLAH wants)
the one who kills himself dies as a non-believer .. so he is supposed to go to hell
But......... take care not to mix the suicide with the one who is killed while defending his country or religion this is a martyr that is completely forgiven and loved by god even if this martyr meant to be killed (suicide bomber) as the aim is to defend his religion not because he get bored of life .....

According to Islam, commiting suicide is Haram (not allowed). Dont ever judge a nation because of the people. Just because there are some guys who do suicide bombing doesnt mean Islam teaches how to commit suicide. As a matter of fact there is a vicious punishment for those who commit suicide. And yeah im a muslim. The word ISLAM itself means peace, submission to GOD. Its because of this terrorist thing going on in the western countries that people are starting to research about Islam and finally understand the true side of Islam and enter Islam. Now Islam is the fastest growing relegion in the world.

First off, you didn't finish your question.
Secondly, it is 100% against our religion to commit suicide; if we do so, we go straight to hell (unless Allah wants otherwise.)
This is because only God can control our fate. Stupidly killing yourself means affecting God's plans for you and this is not at all allowed.

Suicide is a Sin.
Martyrdom is not.
If you Kill yourself, you will burn.
If you were stricken down fighting for Allah you will be rewarded.
