A whole egg contains 6-7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fat, 90 calories and 60 of those calories from fat. All of the fat is in the yolk as well as all of the cholesterol, so that leaves 3 - 3.5 grams of protein in an eggwhite with 15 calories. I usually eat 3 whole eggs a day and the rest I only use the whites. SO the protein is split pretty much equal into the yolk and white. They can both be beneficial for bodybuilding but too many whole eggs can mean too much fat and......well....you know that getting fat isnt the goal of a bodybuilder. I go through a carton of eggs a day, Im glad they are not expensive. Egg protein is the best quality protein in nature(short of mama's milk, I ain't gonna go runnin' to mama).
