Be patient and give her time and you will soon know.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.
STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^

Sorry but they need to see a vet before 4-6 weeks. Many vets want to see Momma and kittens 24-48 hours after birth to make sure everything is OK.
Now back to your question, it could take several hours for other kittens to be born. If she is still round in the midsection, there are more.

Unfortunately you cant always tell. My cat had 2 and then had antoher one the next morning. Watch her and make sure she is not gettting more stressed or labored. Best thing is just to keep a close eye on her.
If she appears to be in severe pain or laboring too hard for a long period of time you may want to rethink the vet or you could lose her.
Dont stress too much as nature has desinged most animals to deliver without a vet present.

Feel both sides of your cat's abdomen & feel for pockets or bumps, those are other kittens of the litter not born yet....many times you can actually count them. That is how our vet used to describe it to us. I wouldn't risk too long of a wait though if you DO feel these, but don't see any movements to pass them.... there could be a problem or obstruction.
**Do note though, that if there are NO bumps & NO signs of discharge or sack anywhere, then your female has already cleaned up all the evidence. Parents will dispose of any stillborn young on their own to provide for the able fit young.

Well, it would be somewhat unusual for her to only have one in there....but I guess it's possible. Is she still laboring? (Panting, straining, etc.) How long has it been since the first one was born? If she seems lethargic, disinterested in the baby, or in any way distressed, I'd call the vet. Otherwise just keep a close eye on her. Things usually progress normally!

gently rub her tummy if she will let you. Try to leave her alone yet monitor her at the same time. It mormally takes awhile for a cat to fully give birth to a litter so no worries. If it seems as though she is under alot of stress or having bad problems thats when you need to start worrying.

It is rare for a cat to have one but if it is young then it is possible. Did you rub her tummy and feel another one inside.
