Are you pro-alcohol? If so how do you justify that.

Let's not discuss the legality, prohibition failed when it tried to classify alcohol as a drug like any other and the fact that alcohol IS legal suggests that "drugs are bad, mmkay" is not a black and white issue.

Hey you. It's 6:14. I am mad because I got up early. What did you do to me. Did you make it so I can't be the lazy bug that I am. Oh and drinking, well, I don't tend to. I am not really pro-Alchohol I think weed should be legal but not Alcohol if you are going by which one is actually worse. I feel, hey if someone wants ot pickle thier liver, let em. My problem is drunk drivers and such. Or a guy who gets drunk and beats the **** out of his wife and kids.

Well I am not completely anti-drug I do have some exception.
But no they don't consider alcohol a drug because they drink it, but it is a drug. To some people alcohol is just as bad as crack, how many lives has alcohol destroyed. The effects of drinking are because of weaknesses and we all have weaknesses. Alcohol is a drug and should be banded where small children are present. This get me I with to a pro football game and people were drinking and just before the game ended, on the billboard they had this flashing message, DRINK RESPONSIBLY and I told my wife, I said baby when I use to drink I know for a fact after your drunk it's a little late to start drinking responsible. I don't hold it against people that drink or that do other harmful drugs, but people do things sometimes that are or close to life changing events that once that person tries to recover they may have lost years of their life and the people that once loved them. I think you have to start telling yourself its time to stop and maybe you will before you become an addict. Sorry I got carried away and went off topic, but its just that the pro alcohol people make a mockery of people for the sake of money.

I am very anti-drug and anti-alcohol. This is because of my personal experiences and struggles with them. I am a recovering alcoholic and addict. I wasted years f***ed up on drugs and alcohol that I will never get back, and I am lucky that I'm alive. I used to be so pro-drug and pro-alcohol and thought that everything should be legalized, but what I didn't realize is just how destructive these things are. Yeah, they don't pose any problem and are fun in the short-term, but over any extended period of time they will cause nothing, but misery. Anyone who is pro-drug or pro-alcohol is in a state of ignorance and confusion.

If alcohol & marijuana were 2 new drugs that just showed up on the market today, upon study, they would be more likely to legalize marijuana & criminalize alcohol.

The drug issue is not a black & white issue. Some drugs are worse than others. While I am in favor of legalizing marijuana, I would be dead against legalizing Meth.

where i live alcohol is banned, drug dealing carries a death penalty. what i noticed since we toughened up alcohol consumption is no more drunks on the roads, less family breakdown. drug dealing just about stopped since we hang dealers, and importers. you could say prohibition is working wonders here. no one is willing to risk 20+ years in jail , public whippings, or death for alcohol sales, as a result we won the war on alcohol, prohibition carried out correctly does work, and your country can do it too! I have no problem with people imbibing,,,It's just never made sense to me too allow road side taverns and bars to serve
alcohol,,knowing full well people are going to drink and drive,,

I'm extremely prejudiced in this,,having lost a brother this way!
And I do knock back a few now and then myself,,at home!

I'd like to see marijuana decriminalized,,The money wasted
prosecuting this ''crime'' could go towards fighting the Meth
problem thats on the rise here in the states,,,

It is a black and white issue. Any substance that alters the human senses for recreational purposes should be banned. Alcohol included. If it alters the human senses through healing, then that is acceptable. Alcohol should be unrecognized as a drug and banned. Anyone who uses alcohol and recreational drugs should be baned from life.

alcohol is a drug.
weird how people are jailed and executed for 'other drug' related crimes.
but alcoholism is virtually condoned by leaders of society.

'there was a footy match, lets get pissed!'
