Christians does this mean the baby is not living. King James version of Genesis, chapter 2, verse 7: "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul........ So if you have not taken a breath of air, you are not a living sole.

Breathing is not only thru the nose..... Once the male and female cell unite there is a breathing process under way. Every cell has a breathing process. Adam and Eve were a little different because they were created and from then on Jehovah God gave them the capacity to originate life, which is a most beautiful miracle. Life is so sacred that God does not permit us to take it into our own hands. That´s why a provoked abortion is similar to murder. Exodus 21:21-23

First of all this was the first creation- it did not come through the mother's womb- babies do breathe and their hearts are beating- it is life- hearts that beat have life- it is wrong to take the life of the child- breathing is assisted by the mother in the womb- but that does not mean that the baby is not breathing. Also there is not just the blood of the mother nourishing the baby- did you know that the baby has his/her own blood stream that meets in the placenta? There is life in the blood-

the breath of life was put into Adam by God. Eve came from Adam's rib. The fetus stays alive thru the mother. the mother's blood is circulating into the fetus which will grow to full term and then when born will take it's own breath without the mother's help. The baby has it's mother's blood in it.

I've been conflicted about this issue most of my like. My personal philosophy now is that it is not right, however there are many pregnancies that are so unfortunate in origin. I can't judge another, I would rather see it not happen and adoption be the solution.
I am conflicted about the death penalty too, but in so many circumstances, if I were involved, I'd want that for the offender!

Isn't it being kept alive by the breath God gave the mother? Then again, that doesn't mean there aren't cases where the baby would suffer if he lived and would be better not living. There is an alternative....set it up for adoption.

I support the right for all Christains to abort their offspring.
