The sense is this, Even if you're the furthest right-wing left-wing any-wing liberal and you totally are into animal rights and protecting endangered species, the rules don't apply to you as long as you have money $$$. Sad but it's the truth. The ones who go hunting for endangered species (and yes it is illegal) don't care as long as they get their fix. In their own little worlds they see that yes, there's only 56 left of this type of bird on the face of the planet, but that means that I can kill 1 and then there's still 55 to repopulate the Earth.

It's what I call blond logic. You always hear about it, but it doesn't really exist or make any sense.

I guess things are different 'way up north.' In Texas you CAN'T hunt endangered species hunting license or NOT. The hunter's manual provided by the great State of Texas explains this and provides a list of fines & penalties for failing to observe the provisos protecting endangered and protected species. Of course, we don't have any Polar Bears in Texas ('cept in the zoo & you can't hunt them there. LOL!).

The point is, you have to get a license. The license can be withheld if the licensing authority thinks they are all that endangered. It's legal to ask for a license, but they can say "no".

On the other hand, some animals are no numerous and/or destructive to be considered "nuisance animals", like the feral pigs found in Michigan. It is legal to shoot them year-round, without a license, but the state requests people report after shooting so the state can keep track of the problem.

Last time I checked the Polar Bear wasn't "endangered" other wise there wouldn't likely be any hunting of them allowed.

Polar bears are not endangered in Canada. Do your research before making such statements.

Because there are thousands of new laws being created by thousands of lawmakers from your local town council to Congress, and nobody to fix laws that conflict or don't make sense.

What we need is a complete overhaul of the system. It's funny, we get our cars oil changed every three months so the engine won't freeze up, but it's been almost 300 years since our country got it's lube job!
