It is a common misconception that there is a direct correlation in years of cats/dogs to humans (I.e. a year in animals equals 7 in humans).

Their developmental stages have equality with our own at different times, but they have a shorter life expectancy so that is perfectly normal. For more information read my link and check out the charts provided. :)

If your cat is 70 it would be ten,because you multiply their age by 7.10x7=70.
