Astral travel is basically an out of body experience, it occurs when the spirit leaves the body during sleep or very deep meditation and takes excursions on it's own. It's when your heart rate slows down, and relaxed.

I had a Astral projection about three weeks ago, and was very aware of it. I felt myself float up about a foot, and feet first started to move. I am sure it was the TV I felt I hit, and started moving in the other direction, and hit something, and settle back down in my body.
Most times it is safe, although, I have heard of one bad story.

I've heard of astral travel and astral projections; however, it's not something I'm into, so I haven't ever done it, and don't have any particular plans to make the attempt.

Im not sure if this is it, but a number of times when I am falling asleep, I feel as though I am floating above my body. A few times I have actually seen my body. It is definetly different from a dream. I've conciously tryed to do it before, but it never seems to work. I think its just something that occurs naturally.

hehe i love astral travel..
you do it wile your body is "sleeping" so to people it looks like your sleeping but you are concious and aware of everything.

well it takes some practice. some get it on the first shot some never get it at all. it took me a good 10-15 tries to get it.
heres a good site that explains how to do it..

I've heard about it and even tried it before I became a Christian. I don't know that it worked.

I would like to give you the details of my attempts but I don't think that's a good idea since I don't know if it is safe spiritually and mentally. I don't even know if it is possible.

I have trouble hacullinating and end up having false awakenings and lucid dreams. Sometimes I feel as if I had an obe, but i don't see my body....hmmmm. Maybe it has to do with my beliefs.
