It takes months to train a puppy, some breeds take longer than others. They have small bladder, bowel and tummies so they can't hang on long. You need to keep puppy out there longer, it obviously hasn't finished when you bring it in, let it walk around more even if it appears it's done.

Don't teach your puppy to go indoors, no crate training paper training, or pad training, it always comes back to haunt you, they need to associate going to the toilet to outside. I've known so many people that have done this then they're annoyed when puppy poops inside, or on the school assignment or important business document or book that slipped onto the floor.

If you rush him in the house because it is cold...it will happen I call it the afterthought. Most dogs leave a little in there badder and goodies. I got mine to really let go long walks about 30 to 40 minute walk makes them go 2 to 3 times in that time...it helps to make them run to...let them jog around and move. This will stir up there stomach that makes them think they need to go again. If that doesn't help I would be surprised

try crate training your puppy. dogs will not pee or poop in the crate. try staying outside a little longer. after he/she does it in the house, take him/her back outside immediately. if you don't want to crate train, use newspaper.
