Have a heart to heart talk with your sister. Tell her that you care about her and are worried about her. I think it will mean a lot to her just to hear her brother say that to her.

I imagine there is something in her life in which she feels she has no control over. I would guess reading such things give her some sense of empowerment.
Find out what's bothering her, and help her work out those problems through other means.

you didn't say what you found!. i wouldn't worry. there is such a stigma about "being goth". so they wear dark cloths and most listen to music a lot of people don't like. As long as she is healthy and mentally stable then she will be ok.

i have tonnes of gothic books
you do know its history right?
like the buildings and stuff
but yeah i have some pretty scary books like that
maybe she has them to read with her firends for a laugh or she has chosen to go down that path like many others, its not that bad, you should try it sometime
and dont treat her like an outcast if she does go "goth"

most of us that "find" something when snooping get shocked so why are you? Its not your place to deal with this matter but your mothers. Or you could just confess to your sister that you were snooping and found her things and ask her what it is all about and get her to tell you about it so you can understand where she stands in it.

talk to your sister. ( I don't know how long you can keep this from your mom, but, if I was her, I'd want to know so I could help my daughter.)
