Look at the word 'break', 'fast'. A fast is a time when you eat no food, and of course you don't eat while your asleep. So breakfast is the most important meal of the day, because it 'breaks' the 'fast' you've had since you went to bed last night, and gives you that vital energy to start you through the day. It's the most important meal of the day, but most people don't eat properly at breakfast. It should have first class protein as well as carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals and stuff.

If you eat at regular intervals your metabolism works at it's best. If you miss breafast, when you eat lunch your body isnt sure when you will eat again so it stores more as fat than it would if you had eaten breakfast and it also craves more calories. It is the same for all meals, the reason breakfast is so important, is because you've been basically fasting for the last ten hours, so your body is already breaking down your reserves.

It is the first meal of the day and your body needs to get back into gear, if you like. Overnight and during sleep is the best time your body chooses to digest the other meals you have had, and in the morning your metabolism is relatively lower. So, you need breakfast to make it back to its full and working potential. Also, what you eat is a key factor for how you well you function for the rest of the day.

is meant to tell you that it's better to eat heartily in the early part of the day, rather than go to bed with a full stomach. It's all to do with digestion.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it kick starts your metabolism. You rmetabolism is the rate at which your boday breaks down calories and turns them into energy, so it is important if you are losing weight, or if you arent, as it gives you plenty of energy to set you up for the day. (thats why it is best to exercise in the morning too, cos you start breaking calories down very quickly, and the metabolism stays high for abou 3 hrs in a male.
It also helps you wake up! So, it is very good for you as long as you have omething fairly healthy,

Because it does what it says, literally, it 'breaks your fast', it gives the body fuel to start the day, helps keep you alert and able to function better than those who have nothing.
Think of your body like a car, you wouldn't expect a car to run on no fuel, so why should your body? - Fill it up with junk and it'll soon let you down, but good fuel will keep you running for years!

in food
you should have 7/8 meals in a day
miss out any of them
your not growin
or gettin any bigger
from thin lol
so its good to have breakfast

Cause if you dont eat in the mornin when you arise your body thinks it wont get food ! so the next thing you eat it stores it as energy incase you decide not to eat ! lol also give you energy for the day ahead ! Shreddies !
