Depending of course on health, size, weight, and more
usually around 9-10 years, generally because of their size
but I've met a16 year old, and I've also met sickly 3 years olds that passed much sooner. But I believe that is about the average.

Usually less than 10 years. A family friend of ours owned a Bullmastiff and he passed away when he was 8 years old. It's really sad that their life expectancy is less than 10 years.

I agree with the others, 8-10 years. The larger dog breeds have very short lifespans.
