The secret to healthy skin is actually in your diet what you need is really Vitamin A, Vitamin D, and lots of water. Drink at least 4 litres of water every day this will help to keep you blood clean and will help eradicate toxins, Vitamin A is known to revitalize the skin and can be found in carrots, squash, and cabbage and other greens, you'll need vitamin D as well which you will naturally get through plenty of sunlight although do not overdo as the skin can be damaged through spending to much time in the sun.
As for non dietary measures, you'll find that applying yogurt (dahi, curd) to your face will greatly improve your complexion and so will a choclate face pack or kit and will give you that glow which you desire.

microdermabrasion is awesome. I use a kit from Mary Kay but I heard Loreal also makes one. This is wonderful because it helps circulation in your skin as well as removing dead skin.
You should follow the instructions with the kit because if you do it more than directed you can have problems with skin irritation.
I use it once a week or so and I have gotten to whenever I know I'm going to have my picture taken I use it. My skin looks incredibly healthy.
I have a friend who is 46 and doesn't look a day over thirty. She uses one of those steam systems for her pores. She puts her face over the bowl, her head draped in a towel. She has hardly any wrinkles at all and she looks phenomenal.
Mostly though..do things that make you feel good on the inside. Little things. Being a new mother is so stressful and it's hard to have time for yourself. But by doing little things to soothe you, you start to look better. I'd say, grab sleep wherever possible, take a time out for you now and then, and take your vitamins, and as previously said, drink lots of water.
You will make it!

Healthy Diet is good
Plenty of water is better
and even more important EXFOLIATION...at least three times a week. If you don't have a lot of money are you have to do is get about 4 tablespoons of sugar mix it it with 2 tablespoons of face wash or body wash and apply to clean dry skin. Scrub in circular motions all over your concentrating on your nose and places where you are prone to black heads. Rinse and apply a moisturizer. Use one that is tinted so you can have a sunkissed glow. Jergens sells a tinted face moisturizer. Use it. Do this 3-4 times a week. Use the moisturizer everyday. You will have gorgeous skin the first time you do it.

I use cleansers like St. Ives apricot scrub and I recently started using Proactiv solution and it's working so far if instructions are followed correctly and then you add a light moisturizer. Wash your face when you get up and go to bed and it should bring back some of that fresh glowing skin you miss having.

egg white mask is good. just break an egg and use the egg white. you don't need a lot to cover the face so one egg is sufficient. spread it evenly over the entire face, avoiding the eyes and leave it on for not more than 3 minutes. then rinse thoroughly. it's good for unclogging pores and gives you a more radiant look.
