Please solve my problem:
My Xp recently developed a peculiar problem.
I am uable to run games and screensavers that used to initially work.
whenever such applications run, the entire screen goes blank and few coloured lines could be seen on the top.
I also have Windows 98 SE installed n the same PC but it works perfectly with all such games and screen savers.
I would like my XP to be same again.
Could any of you solve my problems please?
I have SIS(silicon integrated systems) display card with Elite group display adapter.

Try updating your graphics and audio drivers if possible,and obtain updates for direct x as well. You could also try using system restore as well.

most likely it is a OS conflict that glitch the games and screen savers.
If which I recommend just running on one windows OS unless you have a very specific reason to run 2 versions of windows OS's

reinitialize your virtual memory to its default settiung
