I am SO glad I found these comments today! I have had the pale stool thing slightly yesterday and definitely today. I was afraid I'd suddenly developed a bile obstruction. Then I searched on "foods pale stools" and came upon this. I had a cold this week, and a friend brought me several cans of soup, including two of the Progresso Light NE CLAM CHOWDER, which I would not usually buy. I did eat both cans, the last can just night before last, and I ate the whole can that night. I have never had pale stools like this before, where I couldn't ID the food cause. Not ever. Ingredients of the Light NE clam chowder, from the can I just retrieved from the recycle pile (all caps my emphasis): Clam Broth, Potatoes, Clams, Celery, Modified Food Starch, Water. Contains less than 2% of: Polydextrose, Onions, ARTIFICIAL COLOR, Soybean Oil, Natural Flavor, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Soy Protein Concentrate, Butter, Sodium Phosphate, Modified Whey Protein Concentrate, Parsley, Yeast Extract, Spice, Citric Acid.

I used to eat a lot of 'red meat' and I had dark stools. Now I eat mostly chicken or fish, and I have pale colored stools. I'll bet you ate 'chicken' or fish a lot in the past week or two, and that's why your 'stools' are pale. Don't worry about it.

The food what you are taking must be containing more of milk or milk products and fruits, there is nothing wrong with it if you change your diet to some solid food this will change.

Could be something that you ate but I would recommend checking with your dr to have this evaluated.
