Hey, let me first tell you that the answer that i will present to you is purely based on my beliefs and experiences. There is no such thing as Satan. Now, because this is imporant. Let me say it one more time for you to know the reality. There is no such thing as Satan. Satan does not exist. When you die, you are not going to see, a being such as Satan. You just won't..why? Because there is no such thing. Like another respondent said previously, that Satan, and evil are only metaphors, and that those concepts are only present in the mind. That is the truth. If you love everyone, you love everyone, and that is a good thing. Whether that person has characteristics that are Satanic or Godlike. But that is a difficult thing to achieve. In short. There is no Satan. And Yes, love EVERYONE, regardless..

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

Yes. It may sound odd, but God loves Satan too. After all, God is the one who teaches us to love our enemies; and Satan is God's enemy.
But I think I had better clarify, that God does NOT love what Satan does or is.

Love all. All are One. Be alike to everyone. These are the directions found in religious texts. Why do you assume Satan as a separate being. He is in our mind only. We are what our thoughts. As you think, so you become. If your thoughts are godly, you ascend to that level. If your thoughts are degrading, you descend to the satanic level. These are only metaphors. Every thing is in mind only. Hence we need not hate any body/any creature in this world. nagarajan.

Satan is a portion of God. If you love God, of course you may (or not) love Satan. Like a brother, you don't have to follow his suggestions, though.

God is a God of love, but also of wrath. He does not love Satan. It is not ok to love Satan. That is equal to saying you love evil.

God loved Satan . At one time, he was the favorite. But, he got the big-head. So, he was cast down. ( I'm sure someone has more details.) I guess you'd have to ask God, yourself.

All religions teach to love even our enemies. So, if you see Satan as your enemy, then you should also love Satan. In doing so you are a true practitioner of your religion.
