i bought an Ion straightener from sallys beauty supplies for like 70 bucks and i love it! it gets super hot and actually repairs damage to hair because it has conditioning ions and other materials built into the ceramic plates. i dont understand why people will pay hundreds of dollars at the mall. totally unnessicary... just make sure the plates are really ceramic and not just coated

personally i think remington is the best brand because they have a wide range and there straigtners are good quality..
