If you want to relax in the bath by candlelight why not fill up the sink with water and then use floating candles.

my daughter loves candles but was going to be working for Disney and they don't allow candles so I found these great battery operated ones on QVC. I got Vanilla, there was another scent but I can't remember what. They give off a glow very similar to a flame as well as a fragrance. There is no such thing as a candle that is 100% safe, fire takes precaution. I guess I'm not savy- what do you mean a wax strip? Like for a bikini line or eyebrows? Or do you mean to hold the candle in place? Buy a holder and use votives or tealights if it comes down to it. Some candles you HAVE to put into something because the liquefy.

Light the candle and tip it upsidedown, let it drip into a large stainless steel bowl or kitchen pan for a second then sit it in the wax. Hold it there until the wax is dried enough that the candle stands on its own. Then pour water an inch or so deep into the bowl or pan, this will put the candle out if it falls. Put it out of the way, where your not likely to knock it over and your all set.

You can get some cold wax strips which you warm up by rubbing them between your hands for thirty seconds, or you can get wax to warm up in the microwave.. so candle aren't necessary for heating it...
Other than that you can use a metal dust bin to burn a candle in if you are that worried... or even put a dish in the sink and put the candle on the dish.... anything porcelein should be fine..

Put them in a bowl/bath of water (so that they are floating), it is very unlickly that a fire would happen this way, just as long as there are no hazzardous objects near the burning candles!
All the best xoxx

Glass vases taller than your candles would be very good alternative.
No risk of fire even if the candle inside falls.
Enjoy your relaxation!

Or have a glass bowl and put it on a shelf. Then have floating cndles in. That way you will see the candle light. In the sink you wont be able too if you are in the bath.

They have those candle warmers that give off the fragrance of a candle, but without the fire.
