who has gottin there tubes tied ?? how long does it take to recover from it ??

I had my done a little over a year ago. I went in for the operation in the morning and was home a few hours later. It took about 2 to 3 days to feel completely better. The worst part about the recovery is the very intense shoulder pain that is caused from gas. They inflate your stomach with air so when it is deflated some of the air is trapped, causing the gas. Once that pressure goes away, everything else is fine too. Hope that helped.

I got my tubes tied 4mths ago when i had my daughter by c-section! It took me prob a bit longer to recover as it would if you just went and got them done. Im fine now but i have noticed when i get my period i feel a bit of pain where they would have tied them or what ever they did, and that my period is alot heavier then it was b4 but the doc said it should settle down soon.

About a week when I did it. It's much easier now so you shouldn't have too much of a problem. If you get a good doctor, you may not have too much discomfort at all and not any recovery time. Lasers and scopes work wonders. Good luck!!
